Block paving Driveway
We excavated the driveway to a depth of 220mm and disposed of all the debris and then laid 150mm of Type 1 stone which was rolled with a 10 ton roller. We then laid a concrete bed of 50mm charcol blocks and backed them up with concrete. Next we applied 20mm of sand and shaped to the falls. The sand was whackered down with a whacker plate and then 50mm dawn multi blocks were laid with silica sand sealing all of the joints. As a final process we whackered the driveway again before leaving the site clean and tidy.
